Day 1 When Em got up this morning I told her to say bye-bye to the binkie it needed to go in the garbage. We walked over to the garbage and she gave it 3 kisses and said bye and Mommy threw it away. Nap time wasn't great only because she was wound up and doing her wake myself up thing, other than that she only asked for it one time and I said remember you said bye and threw it away? She only fake cried for a minute, no real tears. Keeping my fingers crossed for bedtime.
Bedtime she asked for it once, reminded her it went in the garbage and she was fine.
Naptime day #2 never even asked for it.
This was supposed to be a long drawn out ordeal with kicking and screaming and real tears. Maybe it was mommy who needed to be ready to give up the binkie.... Totally not what I expected, but I am happy none the less, and binkie free!
