This was a fun day walking thru the rose gardens and playing at Washington Park. My fearless Emma tried to reach into a rose and grab a bumble bee, fortunately she didn't get ahold of it and didn't make it mad in the process. And to all of the strangers that think it is helpful to comment "she is really a handful isn't she?" when my child is zipping up and down the aisles of roses and I am trying to catch her, it isn't helpful at all. Keep your comments to yourself cause you don't get to see the sweet kisses in the dark, the hugs so tight you can't breathe or get to hear "I lub you mommy". All that and more make up for the times I am sweating and running to try to catch up my little whirlwind who most of the time operates at full speed except when she stops to smell the flowers.
