Sick Baby

Just before I left Saturday night I went to check on Emma and she had a fever, we dosed her with Tylenol and put her back to bed. When I got home and checked on her she still had a fever, we gave her more Tylenol and she went back to sleep. The next day I took her with me to my friends house, she mostly played in a chair and stayed close by. Normally she is all over every which way there is possible. She started to get warm again after a couple hours so I took her home and dosed her one more time. I woke up at 4am to check on her and literally thought the thermometer was broken because it said 106. We loaded her right up and took her to the hospital. They checked everything they could and sent us back home after giving her Motrin and Tylenol with no answer other than check back with your own doctor tomorrow (today since it was 6am). When she woke back up from her nap at 104 we headed back to our doctor. Still no answers. Other than the runs because she would only eat fruit no other symptoms. Today she was fever free for only a couple hours then it started going back up. We took turns sleeping in her room last night, guess Arch will be spending the night on the mat in her room again. She has another doctor appt tomorrow, maybe they will come up with something by then. Till then we are supposed to be watching her for Roseola.
*** Update, there is no update. Em went back to the doctor today still with a low grade fever. Their only guess is coupled with the runs she has had might be a touch of the flu.

Out with the Girls

Saturday night I went out with Vickie and Carla, we had a great time. It has been a long time since I have been out on the town. Just a few shots of us that night. Carla really enjoyed our night out and wanted to go back the next night, but they weren't open.

Last night we had a wonderful time with our friends Vickie and John. They had a bbq for Vickie's childhood friend Carla in from Alabama. We had a great group of people from work and Vick's family as well as a big baby fest. Emma was in her element running inside and out chasing Maleek. The food was amazing as usual, they are the best team of cooks. Emma outlasted all the kids and finally passed out around 11:30. They were all good sports at the end even singing a couple rounds of ABC's to try to get Emma to go to sleep. It was such a laid back and relaxing night hanging out with friends I only normally see at work and meeting a new friend as well! We are glad you got to visit and hope you come back soon.

1st Boat Ride

Uncle Scott, cousin Angela, Daddy

Cousin Ryan

Emma took her first boat ride on Uncle Scott's new boat today. It was the test drive to make sure it was safe for water. Before that we had to share our skill of cutting pad locks off when keys are lost or forgotten, after that it was smooth sailing. She liked sitting up front but it was too windy so we moved to the back. Her favorite part was "driving" the boat at the end teaching Uncle Scott how to get it up on the trailer. We look forward to knee boarding next summer!!

What a climber

Just like Mommy

Oops there went the baby..
She is good now, just toss her in there.

That looks good, impulse buying.
Happiest when shopping!!!

Not a country girl

Emma climbed up on this riding mower every chance she got. I convinced Archie to give her a ride on it because that is what it seemed like she wanted. Um, No! This was her reaction, she would only go near it if it was not running. My child who is fearless 99.9% of the time was afraid of the tractor.
