Christmas Morning
It has been tradition for the last couple years we spend Christmas morning with Kelly and the gang. This year was no exception, we had a great morning. Santa was good to everyone even though UPS let the weather stand in the way. So Christmas is extended till tomorrow or whenever the last straggling packages arrive here in Kennewick. Emma was a tired girl cause she had to be woke up to see what Santa brought, she ended up finishing her gifts before bed tonight. After nap time for Em we all bundled up and went to play in the snow with the sled and the 4 wheeler. We had a blast and Emma kept saying up up and yeah yeah for the sled. We only bailed a couple times and mom had to go change her pants for snow pants when they got wet after the first round. Emma even tried driving the 4 wheeler (not intentionally) just figured out where the gas was when sitting with Sissy. After we warmed up we had burritos for dinner and played Cranium family. Girls 1 - Boys 1, even steven till next time!! Merry Christmas everyone.

Zoo Lights
Tonight we bundled up and went to see the Zoo lights, it was very cold but alot of fun. We met our friends Tiffany, Andy and baby Kaitlyn. We loved the hundreds of displays of lights, some were very creative. We walked around a little, got some hot chocolate which Archie and I both spilled on ourselves and Emma despite our best intentions. Sometimes it is hard to be coordinated when you have 5 million layers on. After we hid out from the very short freezing rain spurt we headed to the train. We sat in front of Tiff and Andy so they got to watch Emma go up and down like she was on a bus all thru the town . It was a very short train ride that I didn't see most of because as I said I was watching Emma go up and down and by the way the seats are metal, below freezing temps hmmm what does that tell you. I don't know if we ever decided which was our favorite the peacock, slinky or aquarium display, but they were all beautiful. We did get to see the new baby elephant that was born in August, 6 months old and 650lbs sounds about right to me. He was all cuddled up sleeping under his mom. We ended our night by all enjoying Chinese food for dinner, except I think most of Emma's ended up on the floor. (You are not the only one, Annmarie)

Once a year snow
Here it is, our once a year snow... What I prepared for 2 months ago buying snow pants, winter coat, mittens, hat, boots you name it so Emma could play in the snow. Well here is a picture of my sick kid, who's nose is running so fast none of us can catch it. Hopefully it will be snowing at Sissy's for Christmas so she can play with the other kids.
